Indian Association of Food Protection in North America (IAFPNA) is one of the affiliate associations of the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP). The goal is to support of IAFP ideals and objectives by bringing together food safety professionals of Indian origin and fostering professional development via organizing workshops or other training programs, presentations, mentoring early career professionals or students and any other professional development events. Our organization aims to emphasize the importance of collaboration and partnership with an aim to achieve the common goal of the IAFP membership, i.e., protecting the global food supply. IAFPNA provides a platform for its members to connect with their peers from academia, industry, and government. We also strive to provide various resources for career enhancement of food safety professionals within the United States as well as in India, including strengthening our working relationship with professionals in India.
